Registration is now open for Fall YPW Classes!

It’s that time again: Registration for Fall 2011 classes! This session we have an exciting line-up of classes, all of which are designed to accommodate children of all different levels of experience to work on acting and/or singing and performance techniques. Each class will culminate with a Recital Performance on the Wayside stage at the conclusion of the 8-week session.
YPW 1 and 2 are great for beginning actors, as well as those trying to develop their skills further. Music Theatre teaches vocal technique, character development and the art of telling a story through song. Adult Scene Study is great for any adult who’s caught the acting bug. Our Shakespeare class approaches the bard in an accessible and fun way and is a great introduction for anyone who is interested in auditioning for our Spring Shakespeare: The Taming of the Shrew. Finally, we have YPP for our littlest actors, who are introduced to theatre through games and a short play.
Our classes offer youth and adults the opportunity to work with professionals in the field while creating confidence, instilling discipline, fostering creativity and building esteem.
